1:1 Career Transition Coaching
and someone who gets it
Most coaching platforms match you with whoever is available. I work with a small number of clients at a time, people at inflection points who are ready to stop circling the question and start writing the next chapter.
"I've lived every pivot
I guide others through."
Lauren Fine, MD · Coach · TEDx Speaker
Areas of focus
Everyone I work with is navigating some version of the same thing: capacity, identity, and what comes next. Pick whichever sounds closest to where you are. The coaching underneath is the same.
Physician Coaching
For physicians questioning their clinical path, considering non-clinical careers, or navigating what comes next.

Why not a platform
Matching platforms are transactional by design. You get whoever is available, work through a standardized process, and start from scratch every session. When you work with me, I already know your context. We build on it every time.
Why it works
MD
Two decades practicing medicine means two decades of making high-stakes decisions with incomplete information. That's the exact skill a career pivot or a hard life decision requires. It's not a metaphor. It's the same muscle.
Ed
As Assistant Dean of Clinical Skills Education, she trains physicians in how to think through ambiguous problems, not just what to conclude. You get the same framework applied to your own decision, not a generic coaching script.
Dx
Founder of ReasonDx, built from scratch after stepping back from full-time clinical practice. She isn't coaching you through a transition she's read about. She's coaching you through one she's lived.
Tx
Her TEDx talk on this exact reinvention has reached a global audience. Turning a pivot into a story that lands, for a search committee, an interviewer, or yourself, is a skill she uses and teaches.
What's offered
Every engagement starts with a free 55-minute coaching session. Coaching is sold in packages, not single sessions, because real change happens over time and the work compounds when we stay with it. Each package can focus on career transition, a personal statement, interview prep, or a combination, whatever the moment calls for. I work with a limited number of clients at a time, and rates rise as capacity fills.
01
Four 55-minute sessions over 4 to 6 weeks (or eight 25-minute sessions over the same period). Best for a focused, near-term goal, or for testing the coaching relationship before going deeper. We name what you actually want, cut through the noise, and leave with a clear next move.
02
Eight 55-minute sessions over 3 months (or sixteen 25-minute sessions over the same period). This is the core engagement, and the package most clients choose, with enough room to do the real work at a sustainable pace: identity and story, the narrative you tell about your path, strategy and decisions, and steady accountability.
03
Twelve 55-minute sessions over 6 months (or twenty-four 25-minute sessions over the same period). For clients ready for a bigger shift, not just a single decision but a redesign of how the next chapter looks: deep clarity work, reauthoring inherited rules, and building the structures to live the change, not just plan it.
A combination of 55-minute and 25-minute sessions can be arranged within any package. Individual sessions ($375 each) are available as an add-on for current and past clients between packages. New clients begin with a package, because the work is more effective when there's room to build on it.
Specialty paths
Three coaching focuses have their own dedicated pages. If one of these speaks to where you are, start there.
For Physicians
Coaching for physicians questioning their clinical path. From a physician who made the transition.
Ikigai Coaching
Real ikigai coaching, not the Venn diagram. From the TEDx speaker behind Permission to Change.
Career Reinvention
Career reinvention coaching for accomplished professionals ready for what comes next.
How it works
01
Free, 55 minutes. A real coaching session, not a screening call. You tell me where you are and what you're trying to figure out. I tell you honestly whether coaching makes sense and whether we're the right fit.
02
If we move forward, we clarify the engagement: what we're working on, how often we meet, and what a meaningful outcome looks like for you.
03
Regular sessions, real progress. The work is different for everyone. Some clients need to get unstuck, some need a plan, some need help telling their story. We go where it matters.
04
The goal is never dependency. It's for you to leave with clarity, tools, and a narrative that's yours, and the confidence to act on it.
Is this for you
A note
Coaching works best when you're ready to do honest work. If you're looking for someone to tell you what to do, I'm probably not the right fit. If you're ready to figure out what you actually want and build toward it, let's talk.

How is this different from therapy?
Therapy typically focuses on processing the past and mental health. Coaching focuses on where you are now and where you want to go. I'm not a therapist and this isn't therapy. It's forward-focused work on clarity, narrative, and action.
Do you work with people across the US and internationally?
Yes. All coaching is available virtually. I work with clients across the US and internationally via video. Location is not a barrier.
How long does coaching typically last?
It depends on the package: Clarity Sprint runs 4 to 6 weeks, Change Navigation runs 3 months, and Full Transformation runs 6 months. We figure out which fits in your first session, based on what you're working on and how much room the work needs.
What does a session look like?
Sessions are 55 minutes (or 25 minutes, depending on how your package is structured), conducted via video. They're conversational, not structured like a class. We go where the work is. Between sessions, I may give you questions to sit with or short exercises (nothing burdensome).
Why work with you vs. a matching platform?
Platforms are convenient but transactional. You get whoever is available. I work with a small number of clients at a time, which means you get my full attention and a coach who genuinely knows your story, not a fresh stranger every few sessions.
What does it cost?
Coaching is sold in packages, not single sessions, because real change happens over time. Clarity Sprint is $1,200 (four 55-minute sessions over 4 to 6 weeks). Change Navigation, the package most clients choose, is $2,600 (eight 55-minute sessions over 3 months). Full Transformation is $4,000 (twelve 55-minute sessions over 6 months). Each package can flex into shorter 25-minute sessions and can focus on career transition, a personal statement, interview prep, or a combination. These rates are honored for the full length of any engagement begun at them, and rise as client capacity fills. Individual sessions ($375 each) are available only as an add-on for current and past clients between packages. The first session is always free.
What does the free first session cover?
A full 55-minute coaching session, free. You tell me what you're working on or wrestling with. I ask questions, listen for the underlying decision, and tell you honestly whether coaching is the right next step. It's a real session, not a screening call — there is no obligation and no sales pitch.
How is your coaching different from a typical "life coach"?
Yes, in the sense that this work touches your whole life, not just your career. What makes it different is the lens I bring: physician training, decision science, and narrative identity. It is not generic motivation. It is structured work on the decision and the story underneath it, so you leave with a plan you can actually live with.
Do you offer in-person sessions?
Most coaching is conducted via video. In-person sessions are available by appointment in the Weston, Florida area for clients in South Florida who prefer that format.
Where I work
In South Florida, I serve clients across Broward and Miami-Dade counties: Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Boca Raton, Plantation, Pembroke Pines, Coral Springs, and Aventura. In-person sessions are available by appointment in Weston. Virtual coaching is available across the United States and internationally via video.
